What is the best cosmetic foundation?

My girlfriend is interested in a non-liquid foundation for darker skin, her cosmetics are for tan colored skin.What is the best cosmetic foundation?
Why are YOU asking? She cannot research it herself? ANYWAY, Bobbi Brown has been proven to be one of the best and award-winning for coverage and giving a flawless finish. Expensive, though. $42. L'oreal puts out a variety of good ones and a lot less expensive ($10-14) and are in the retail drugstores, too CVS, Walgreens, Eckerd, etc and even the supermarkets.....What is the best cosmetic foundation?
I dont like Bare Minerals, although like 90% of people love it. I guess its convinient that it comes in a kit rather than buying all the different products





For my face makeup i LOVE Nars. They have a variety of shades so it should be easy for her to find one.





The only drugstore foundation i use is Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse.
Get maybelline superstay silky- it works great and they have colors for darker complexion

Bare Minerals is good, I've been using it for almost five years, very light and covers well. You can purchase on line and also at certain stores.
Youngblood is amazing. The offer a HUGE range of colors to choose from. It is very expensive so tell her to be prepared to pay alot ($38 plus shipping)
