What foundation and other face cosmetics cover acne?

I have acne and i must say it has ruined my life! i am very very shy and can not go out without makeup because i am scared of what people will think of me. :(

Is there any cosmetics i can wear that cover and still look good in natural light??? please help me! thanks xWhat foundation and other face cosmetics cover acne?
Use mineral makeup. It's actually good for your skin as opposed to other commercial products. It's getting more and more popular so name brands are selling it now (I'm not sure which ones). A popular brand is Bare Essentials that you may be able to find in stores. My favorite brand is Monave which you can order online.

It's really important to match your skin tone so going to a professional is your best bet for that. MAC cosmetics (which are coming out with mineral makeup, if not already) have professionals that are really good at matching the foundation/concealer to skin tones. The MAC cosmetics are really good also (your skin might break out a bit though-- won't find out until you try!).

In terms of what you should get: I would get a type of foundation or concealer and put that on your trouble spots right after moisturizing. Then get a powder of the same shade and apply it over the foundation using a brush.

Good luck! What foundation and other face cosmetics cover acne?
Bare Minerals all the way.

It may be more costly than other mineral makeups, but it is soo worth it. It will cover up the red spots that shine through other makeup and if you fall asleep with it on, you wont wake up with more acne. I had bad acne all my freshman year and once i was using retin-a and bare minerals (along with other great acne clearing products) my acne cleared up so quickly. Now i can wear no make-up when i leave my house. I still use bare minerals and if i wear make up i only wear that. Bare Minerals is sold at Ulta and other beauty stores. I would recommend having someone who works with bare minerals tell you which shade to use and then buy a starter kit.
I suggest you use a highly pigmented concealer like cinema secrets or Laura Mercier. By the way,

Laura Mercier concealer is sited and awarded by InStyle magazine as the best blemish concealer in the market today. You can customize a shade that will perfectly match your skintone by mixing the two colors in the palette. More best beauty buys at:http://vitzy.net/forum/Best-Beauty-Buys-鈥?/a>
try using neutrogena's skin clearing foundation. it covers your blemishes and works to clear your skin at the same time, and it's light and isn't oily or cakey so it keeps your pores clear :]

if you want something even lighter than that, neutrogena has a powder that does the same thing. you could even apply the powder lightly over the foundation to make it set better, i do that sometimes :]
try revlon colorstay blemish concealer-it covers up acne but it also contains salicylic acid to help fight acne at the same time. for foundation, try bare minerals spf 15 foundation
